Western Gruppe Properties is a Property Development and Investment Company based in Port Elizabeth.

It primarily develops properties in the Eastern Cape. While the Eastern Cape is the largest province in South Africa, it is also the most underdeveloped.

​

These properties benefit the communities economically and bring about social change as it creates jobs and brings convenience to these communities.

​

Western Gruppe Properties has two Directors, Götz von Westernhagen and Kevin McLoughlin.

​

Götz, who is a quantity surveyor, has over 20 years retail experience under his belt. Over and above his property investment portfolio, he has several Spar Stores operating under the Western Gruppe Trading division.

​

The Managing Director, Kevin, is a Chartered Accountant and has extensive experience in the finance sector. Kevin came from an investment banking background having worked for one of the largest private banking institutions, Investec Bank.

​

This dynamic duo saw an opportunity to develop property in the Eastern Cape and further afield in South Africa and have since developed a number of retail outlets and shopping centres.

The organization has gone from strength to strength and hopes to bring about social change and upliftment to more communities through development and future corporate social investment initiatives.
